RESEARCH | PARTICIPATION IN RESEARCH PROGRAMS

Since 2007, I have been involved in academic and research activity, including teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate studies and workshops, giving lectures in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, participating in international scientific conferences, publishing papers, as well as participating in innovative research projects (in collaboration with the Univeristy of Thessaly, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens). My research interests deal with aspects of digital experience, hybrid landscapes, conceptual spaces and audiovisual representations.

  • Representation and Interaction with the Greek Landscape in Video Games, Department of Architecture, University of Thessaly

  • PostDoctorate research [From the Architecture of Melancholy to Video Game Design: the Question of Space], Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

  • PhD research [Anatomy of the Digital Body_ Spatial Aspects of the Self and the Intangible on the Web], dealing with the "spatiality" of the digital self. More specifically, it explores the spatial qualities that unfold when studying one's experience in a digital environment.

  • Member of the Research project "Urban Landscapes in Video Games – Representations and Spatial Narratives” initiated in 2011 in the Department of Architecture, University of Thessaly. Its theme concerns architecture in video games, and more specifically, the representation of the urban environment in the digital world of videogames.
